Nancy,

The QP2 downloader works completely almost independently of your browser. I doesn rely on IE's settings for controlling winsock dialing as do all the other MS winsock applications...

I disagree with this statement. Quotes Plus Versions 1 and 2 can coexist very nicely on one computer. The only reason for un-installing QP1 is to free up disk space.
