But Merrill Lynch downgraded Intel today (Friday) from LT Accumulate to LT Neutral. Question: Are people posting about Intel here on the Compaq thread as a factor to be considered [demand for Intel's chips] in evaluating Compaq's performance short/mid/long term? Lynn

Usually you just hear about the upgrade after the fact. When they say they "plan to announce an upgrade" what does that mean? There is a meeting sometime during the day when it comes out? Any idea what time this upgrade happens? Thanks.

Thread, Eugene <someone> from J. Montgomery Scott (sp?) just interviewed on CNBC. Didn't listen too hard, thats why I missed the name, but recommended CPQ as a good buy, especially at these levels... H
