Lehman reported that Taiwan PC stuff probably bottomed in July and may turn up for Aug - PCs heating up again for Sept to X'mas, like US stocks had predicted the last few weeks. If this goes on, hopefully in time it will lift all the other stuff too.

Looking at NAZ and STM (down >$4 today to $61), the street is probably believing Wilf and ADV that the slow down in general. Hopefully this will reverse itself when everybody sees PC recovering and economy remains good, as in no futher deteriation here or Asia or Japan and keep spending up.

With yen at 142 something, much less chance of China devaluation, less chance of Asia deteriating more.

Keeping my fingers crossed.
