Jon -- Again, I defer to a good idea. Thanks for continuing to share your thoughts. I'm not sure that "web/information" is the absolute best choice -- I haven't checked to see what other categories AVAL fits into in its current incarnation -- but I agree that getting into a more specific "hot topic" thread would be better than burying it in a general technology thread. I realized that in my last post I said something about not keeping my view of AVAL a secret, but here's a new thought that I don't think I've expressed before. All shareholders should be most happy, of course, that the long silence is over, and that after finalizing the financing deal management appears to be refocusing on really getting the sales blitz rolling, and even a little PR. Another thing I'm glad about, and sort of proud of, is that despite the months of impatient waiting for something (ANYTHING!), no one (other than me [g]) is hyping the stock even now that we have things to say. There have been no posts on the other boards, like "Under .25," "Penny Stock Movers," "1,000% returns" or anything like that. There's no way that Avalon management can be accused of creating a hot air balloon rather than trying to build a real little company, and I trust that all of us will also continue to try to spread the word on AVAL in a dignified manner. On another note, I think everyone should take a fresh look at what Avalon is on the road to accomplishing. Lots of crummy OTC-BB companies fail in high-tech, so they move into cow ranching, then oil wells. Or they start with financial services and then proclaim themselves to be an ISP or IP telephony company. Microchips to nutritional supplements -- you get the idea. Avalon is different: the company had what many thought was a perfectly viable concept, and in the process of pursuing it found that they were attracting attention from some major companies (or so I believe) for its kiosks themselves, even more so than what was on them. They have a product that is only partially proprietary, but is state-of-the-art and marketable in areas that are beginning to grow tremendously. The customer information/internet-access kiosk field will be large enough within a couple of years that if Avalon captures even a minuscule percentage of the projected market, its annual EPS may eventually exceed the current share price. Don't scoff at me [g] -- just buy the stock. WHAT?! As those who know me are aware, I've owned AVAL since last October and have told lots of people about it as an interesting speculation, and many people bought some. But for 10 months, I have always hedged what I've told people about Avalon and never actually came out and said "buy the stock." Now it's time: there is a window of opportunity, before the big news releases start trickling out as I believe they will. I don't see why anyone who has the stomach for it shouldn't buy a few thousand shares (or a few thousand more) RIGHT NOW, anywhere under .30 for a decent shot at an eventual 5 or 10 bagger. Or, IMO, at least a sure double as the company gets noticed in the short term, even without regard to their eventual success or lack of success. Anyone who's skittish at the moment should watch closely for a couple of weeks for a chance to get in quickly if any significant release comes out. The above is the personal opinion of the author, who is not in any way affiliated with or compensated by the company and who occasionally has been accused of not knowing what the hell he's talking about, and should not be deemed to be investment advice. [ggggg] JUST DO IT!
