I think the LU inference has more to do with them as a potential licensee.....

jopawa..RMBS would benefit whether they license their technology or they are taken over. I would be happy to take 1 1/2 shares of LU for each RMBS and would also be happy to have LU endorse the technology through a licensing agreement. Win/win either way, no?

john,

Re: <<their independence is key to their ability to license to everybody without conflict>>

I think this is quite an important point, but since most of the stock is held by insiders, I do not feel that a friendly Rambus acquisition by anyone, is in the cards at least until after the true value of the stream of revenue that is about gush into Rambus bank accounts becomes more visible and admired. <gg>

It held up amazingly well today, I thought. Of all the stocks I own, only 2 were up today. I was not displeased with Rambus at all.

Maybe next week will be better - especially with some news. Intel is releasing several new products on Monday. Maybe Intel will have something to new to say with regard to their testing of Rambus' products.

Let's hope the rest of the world can hold it together in the meantime.
