Monday's looking to be a bad day. Hang Seng spot is 7527. The Aug. futures (where all the intervention is) closed at 7390 for a discount to cash of 137 pts. or 1.8%. The same discount shows up in the Sep.contract. And that was before the current DJIA selloff or the additional 2 yen decline to 145.
