What you said was correct for Windows 95 OSR2. I believe Zeuspaul can answer the question about fine print as I faintly remember he bought the full version when it first came out.

Len,

your confused. Only the SR2 release of windows 95 was never released retail. All other MS software including 95 and 98 have always been available in retail versions.
