>>Shorts (or should I say people who are not long VVUS) such as yourself, Brad, and BigK are as much a part of the necessary dialogue as anybody I can think of. <<

True, But I would not give satisfaction to manipulators like moby. If they want to spew their crap around then they can do it with others who would appreciate it.

Actually if things had worked out I would be short vvus too, I just could not find any shares to short at 11 3/4. I did post it at the time. So its not that I have anything against shorts. But I do have a big thing against manipulations, especially when it hurts so many.

Colby,

Human nature being what it is, I doubt that the longs and shorts of this stock could ever peacefully coexist here on SI. Too many harsh words have been thrown about in the past and many have lost huge amounts of money (and are likely to lose even more in the future). My vote, therefore, is to maintain these two separate threads.

There's really nothing more to say about this company that hasn't been already said. I feel the longs are much more concerned with the tribulations of Viagra than their own company. This stock, however, is going to zero regardless of what happens with Viagra. Poor management has been killing this company and will ultimately be Vivus' epitaph.
