Bovespa is down 35.6% over 52 wks. and 29.5% YTD local currency. Ahhhh, the joys of investing in emerging markets. Takes a long term perspective and a strong stomach.

Compaq said every thing is fine - inventory problems are behind them. Microsoft said they are defending their right to be innovative.
