Oh, Phil, you are just so gullible. That message is tongue in cheek, which is the whole point. Apple did not invent any of those, nor did it invent much else during the last decade. That is the point. Hard to be the R&D of a Microsoft when you produce nothing new.

Do you really understand those terms you mentioned? Ok, give me an example of multi-threading and where it can be applied?

Phil has always assumed he knows more about computers than me, so it is not surprising he comes up with these type of questions (was the discussion about java with you or somebody else?)...

Multi-threading can be applied for eating spaghetti. When eating, the spaghetti keeps falling off, so you better spin your fork() and you get a twist of spaghetti (code) and thus you can eat faster. (The technique has also been extended to macarooni.)
