Been thinking about this one.
The problem with dishonorable is that -(as with Billy now), we are uncertain where the limits, if any, lie. Why would we assume that these people would be any more loyal to us than to any other person or thing? Honor among thieves? An oxymoron?

I once had a dishonorable friend with terrific entertainment value, until the entertainment got carried away. Alcohol was involved, as were a number of other things. The Authorities were involved too, along with possibly the fastest quarter-mile of my life.

Ah, youth...
