Re: "As this point, Clinton supporters look just plain silly."

There is a difference in supporting a person a political party and a basic human right!

Jim,re:"Clinton". His own mess got U.S. in a big mess: 'Jihad'. Has
anyone ever reason with these people. He just lost it caused by
the 'Monica case'. You think 'bombing' will bring 'sense' to these
guys. I hate to say this, this is no less worse than Vietnam war.
I don't think we can win it. We'll bail out and 'PAY' and 'PAY'
and 'PAY' and ... and hopefull we'll get another nobel price of
peace after we pay. (was it "Dr. Kissinger" the beneficiary the
last time).

Jim, a "short story" I thought of while over on the Cyrix/NSM thread that I thought would fit better here, even though AMD was more the subject there at the time than Cyrix/NSM.

An acquaintance of mine that worked here for several years decided to take an offer from AMD, and moved over there about a month ago. In his first week or so, there was an all hands management meeting that he attended. He sat on the side and near the back (for a reason) in the auditorium or whatever they have for assembly stuff. Late in the meeting, Sanders was speaking. Well, the guy had another meeting with HR, that they had set up, to go over his benefits, options, whatever. So, he got up to leave from the back and side of the seating layout, as quietly as possible. The next day, he was told that you never, EVER, get up and leave when Jerry is speaking, under any circumstances.

That's it. Just sounds like the same guy that gets chauffered in the company paid Mercedes Benz. I wonder if he still commutes from Bel Air?
