Regarding the delay of Daikatana; I said I was upset, but also that I think it is good that they not release a game before it is truly ready...keep in mind I owned MPRS for quite some time, and you get a little concerned when a game is delayed MULTIPLE times, as Dai has (Falcon 4, Guardians of Justice, I could go on and on...). So do it right, but for crying out loud, these guys are vets...HOW COULD THEY BE SO OFF ON THE DEVELOPMENT TIME! As a rule, this would not be acceptable in most businesses...

Joe, you're looking for a 3D card, eh...WELL HAVE I GOT A DEAL FOR YOUR!!!! :p

Naturally, you can only be considering getting a 3Dfx Voodoo2 card, RIGHT?????? Well the good news is that you can pick up a V2 for cheap these days. I would recomend getting a 12mb board with no bundle. Guillemot now has such boards for $159! Best data has product for about same price. I have heard that you can pick up a DIMD monster 2 for 169 then get 50 back from a rebate, net cost 129! (This sounds a bit too good to be true to me though...). If you have any questions, please put them up on the board, I will be happy to help if I can...

RE: TR on a 90mhz PC: that's great. If TR3 can be run on a low end system, I might dump the stock! Why? Because this title needs to be cutting edge...it has been labeled by many as being "more of the same" and as such, could use some good technology to wow these guys...

Only 10% of computers have 3D? My butt! Yeah, maybe 10% of the world's computers, but not 10% of consumer computers...Even the cheapo Compaqs have ATI Rage Pro 3D's in them. Dell and Gateway haven't sold a desktop consumer computer (not workstation/laptop) without 3D for the last year...again, TDFX sold millions of chips...And the s3 virge wasn't worth a shit, but for statistical reasons :0 would be included, and so you can add another couple of million to the number. Again, most consumers who have the horsepower to run TR3 this x-mas should have 3D...
