Bill-
That is why Reno appointed the IC in the first place.

Clinton himself asked for an IC to investigate Whitewater, that's why Reno appointed Robert Fiske. He was replaced by Starr because the 3 judge panel didn't appoint Fiske, Reno did. The conventional thinking was the panel would appoint Fiske anyway since he already started the investigation, including the Vince Foster suicide which Starr again investigated.

What partisanship Bill?

I voted for Reagan for his 2nd term, then Geo. Bush, then Bob Dole......just call them as I see them......and I see political collusion & assasination starting with White Water. They did get extremely lucky with the Monica incident....found the weakest link in his chain.

Pres. Clinton has extremely wealthy & powerful enemies.

Thankfully though, his friends - the American people - are not as gullible as the christian right/holier-than-thou billionaire coalition believes them to be.

cheers, ann
