Doughieboy

If this was Bush or Reagen would you be howling? Are you simply defending the First Perjurer or do you think your lax interpretation of the laws should apply to both parties?

I truly hope the current Gov of Texas is the next Pres of the US. Gore is tainted with Clintons talent of massaging the truth to get what he wants.

<<<Uh, okay. Al spent our money illegally by using a federal phone (with a DNC credit card, I might add) for a few phone calls. Would you like your 1/223,653,783th of a cent mailed to you or deposited directly in your checking account?>>>

I believe you should think about your replies before you post them. At some point you are going to grow tired of the taste of shoe leather. One of reasons that we do not allow government officials to use our facilities for their personal campaign financing is that it puts federal employees at risk of being used for such activities. I mean after all you have expressed such a deep concern that our government not grind to a standstill due to the Ken Starr investigation I would think you'd be a champion against such practices.

Another is that such activities run counter productive to a democratic republic in which candidates should run on their own merits and not be allowed to use the power of the federal government for their own benefit. Such practices are indicative of a monarchy and not a demorcratic republic. Shall I continue?

<<<As for your argument about violating the law, you've missed the point, I'm saying any of those actions that I put down are FEDERAL FELONIES, even though the normal reaction I would hope of most Americans is that things are inconsequential. >>>

Now we have our emminent (I spelled that wrong for your benefit, to give you something to argue with) professor claiming that we Americans should look at some federal felonies as being inconsequential. To translate, you have some set priority by which we should view some federal felonies as important and those which are not? Whoa! Don't tell me, I already know. Those federal felonies that are perpetrated by Republicans should be prosecuted forthwith while those perpetrated by Democrats should be overlooked and deemed inconsequential. Now I am quite sure there is a plethora of defense lawyers that would be more then happy to agree with you but they like yourself have never been guilty of common sense. Oh by the way, as you have shown such a grand interest in my profile please re-read my favorite quote. It fits you so well.
