Yo, once that smirk wears off a little, look at the following statistic -- in terms of human development (literacy, life expectancy and GDP per capita), India and Pakistan occupy positions #138 and #139 in the list (so they are neighbors there too!). Check out undp.org for details. In fact, the only part of the world that the Indian sub-continent is ahead of, is sub-Saharan Africa. Another couple of decades of internecine warfare between India and Pakistan, and the sub-continent might find itself at rock-bottom. Dipy. P.S. : Is the smirk still there???? ;-)
