In my two conversations with Dr. Conrad, I am of the conclusion that what is being done currently would indeed constitute pre-clinical studies, but that could be a matter of semantics ... when (if) cygs makes an announcement of beginning animal studies (especially if they are in some manner of joint venture or co-operative effort) I will be convinced that REAL progress has been made in getting to market ... also, I'll really be looking forward to seeing the results of a third-party, objective biologist actually visiting and looking at their technology. Meanwhile, I think we are all really speculating ... but isn't that what investing is all about?

Everyone will forget, next month
or
FDA you say ?

It is worth pointing out the fact that you guys were discussing the FDA long before anyone else.

Maybe I could get you to comment on this statement below, you seem to be right up on the Science and completely vague on the company itself. Here is another poster who is apparently intimate and knows many of the people and the details that you do not know. He tells a completely different story than you and his seems somehow, less responsible. You may notice he is posting this information reluctantly, after talking to Mike Skillern, company founder for an hour. Do you think he just made this stuff up. (If you are not familiar with the Skillerns, you should be.)

<<there product does NOT need FDA approval to be sold and marketed. It is for sale as we speak.>>>

Marshman, July 10, 1998 is not some dark past, it is a short while ago. People are not likely to forget much. I can see your opinion is that pre-clinicals have started, does CYGS maintain that stance also, or do you believe this character above, who spent an hour talking to Skillern before posting.

Graham, what product, available now, does not require FDA approval?
In addition, I suggest you call Geron legal and see what they say about any talks with CYGS, you might be surprised....although I doubt it.
