You can take WAVO as an example. But I also saw opposite examples more often.
Sold PRLS at $7 3/16.
Bought INVN at $ 8 1/8.

Skane,

PMFJI. That is one of the best ways to determine a bottom. The volume should be higher than any of the prior 2 days. What happens is the final hold-outs finally give in in a flurry of selling. After this group there are not enough sellers left to continue the decline. ICOM is a good recent example. Doesn't hurt if this happens at a key support area/moving average. The bar created is called a "lizzard".

ICOM is a good recent example. If there is market armaggedon, even this rule may break down, though. Rashid

FNTN, yes it was a reversal, there are many different types:
Example: Lizard Bull is when stock makes a 10 day trading low and then finishes in the top 25% of its daily range..
50 day expansion pivot...50 day was at 1.04....Largest range expansion in past 10 trading days(high low price), and stock moves away from 50 day price...
There are many more reversal possibilities, but don't have time to mention them at this poin...
will pass on FNTN, since I don't have ability to set stops on bulletin board companies...Mark

P.S. Looks like Arakis will close today near its high....
As I stated earlier, the work will continue and the takeover deal is solid..
Talisman-Arakis deal to proceed despite bombing
CALGARY, Aug 21 (Reuters) - Canada's Talisman Energy Inc. (TLM.TO - news) said on Friday its US$220-million acquisition of Arakis Energy Corp. (AKSEF - news) will proceed as planned despite U.S. air strikes on targets in Sudan, the location of Arakis' major oil project. Officials at Talisman who declined to be identified said nothing had changed in the plans to take over Arakis.
