Bosco, I certainly agree that HK property may go up in the future, but I don't see it on the immediate horizon. One think I've mentioned before on this thread (or MBK's) is how HK is better managed than Japan, and unlike Japan doesn't drag its feet on fiscal issues. HK has cleverly prohibited all land sales until further notice... so the demand increase you mention obviously has its merits, but I feel they'll have to whip the recession first before it'll ever happen.... and I know one quick way that should stimulate growth.....

There's options on UBB, BFR and STD (Santander has serious investments in S. America even though its based in Spain)
You can also play a straddle on YPF or ENI - both should continue lower if things stay the same, but both should also soar if Chile or Argentina devalues.
