I would play it by the ear. The macro environment is so hard to predict, and there are too many wild cards out there.

I also sold DELL puts, betting on the split factor as well as fundamental/technical considerations.

I'm expecting INTC to test the $65 level before Jan next year. Whether the options expires or are exercised will depend on Ibexx holding em till Jan & if the stock is back to $85 by then. I'm not just picking on INTC, but all nifty fifty equities. $8 is a good premium to get for a long term INTC holder, even if they are covered at a higher price.
