And these new preferred shares somehow don't represent a "real" interest in the company? Curious reasoning.

Ok, how many companies that " Short Squeeze " announce it. Most companies try sneaky underhanded tactics thinking they can skirt the rules set by the NASD or the S.E.C. The companies end up getting into trouble. AZNT has gone through the legal HOOPS. lawsuits, and COURT orders dictating the return of the stock that started the whole mess. I am sure Mr. Mann is not a happy camper nor is Peter Shurer. The shares that will remain, Issued and Out, will be 8,000,000. 800,000 in the float.
In most instances when an insider is screaming ILLEGAL short selling, Miss Janice is correct, they are usually behind the selling either directly or indirectly. To many cases have come up where management screams short short short, as they do this it rally's the shareholders into buying and management is unloading or conducts some screwball offering outside our borders.
All of this is so far a legitimate statement, UNTIL NOW. You can say what you wish, knock this company all you want, even have you fun with me and my wonderful typing skills. But, messing around in waters that you do not understand, well, your lack of home work is your mistake and loss. I love the LAW! And the NASD and S.E.C will love MHMY, Merit, Canacord, Pacific International, Herzog, NITE et al. just make sure I get my stock when I request it or I file a little formal paper work with the governing authorities and make sure that not only you deliver my stock but pay the $2.50 per share fine you short.
