Divi Customer Antenna Hungaria................................

Europe's Largest MMDS Wireless Network Gets Rolling
Newsbytes News Network

BUDAPEST, HUNGARY, 1998 AUG 14 (NB) These services, the carrier says, allow it to offer business customers access to services that efficiently and cost effectively distribute data, software applications and other business- related content to their employees.

In addition to CyberStream receiver cards, Antenna Hungaria is also using New Media's Enterprise1 local area network (LAN) router to provide commercial customers with these services.

"The CyberStream system is the most fully DVB (digital video broadcasting) and MPEG-2 (motion picture experts group) compliant system for MMDS that is available today," said Samuel Krainer, New Media's vice president of international sales.

According to Krainer, the system can be integrated with Antenna Hungaria's existing satellite and cable television networks for the delivery of existing and future services -- "even mixing, audio, video and data transparently."

"Furthermore, they will be able to take advantage of a whole range of CyberStream options to provide their customers with the modern and innovative services that they need," he explained.

In the future, Antenna Hungaria plans to be able to offer new services as CyberStream supports added value applications including distance learning, MPEG-2 streaming and virtual private networks (VPNs).

New Media's Web site is at nmcfast.com .

* Off Topic*: Microsoft is one of the greatest innovative companies that ever existed. If they have a monopoly, it's only because of their genius and execution. That is to say, they earned it honestly and through hard work. Jerks like Clinton look to prey on companies like Microsoft, Intel, Pfeizer and Phillip Morris because he is desperate for money to squander away. You want to sue the Tobacco Industry, Slick, after all the Surgeon Generals that all you Yokels have appointed, had placed the warning label on the cigarette pack for the last 30 years! Go right ahead! Let's see who wins.On the other hand, Clinton's view of the Global Economy and Free Trade is superior to the Republican Platform. In addition, he is more high tech than the whole Republican Party. Clinton is getting it back now. Tell your Justice department, Billy Boy, to back off. Then we will get Starr to back off. You know we don't care who you bang and how you do it! Get the message, Slick!
