suresh--

actually, i think that may be the only way INTC will show an earnings suprise. that is not to say that it would be bad, because they really dont need to be spending on new capacity right now. no one does.

the semi that is the most fun, at least for me, is MU. you can make enough to retire on just with a few MU trades in a year.

on the analysts. kumar and niles are crap, even compared to other analysts. kurlak does say what he thinks, even though a lot of the time kurlak is wrong. the difference with him is that he is right because the market believes he is right. no one should doubt that when it comes to semis, kurlak is the market. over the last couple of weeks, we have seen a lot from lehman, robbiestephens, monty(since when did monty and RS start to agree<G>? isnt that a sign of the apocalypse?)josephthal and PJ about the big upturn in semis. it isnt here yet, but these guys did manage to change some minds and spark buying. kurlak actually was right, but it appeared that no one was listening to him.

THAT threw me for a loop. but, it looks like TK is back. guess we can expect another article about him soon<G>.

upgrades while lowering estimates...how dare you!!! that simply does not happen<G>.

good luck to all,
trey
