Well, one thing is a certainty. You are always good for a laugh.

<<<Your logic escapes me oh wise man.>>>

No, ANY logic escapes you.

<<<He gave the speech because he knew he perjured himself in the Grand Jury?>>>

Sure. He still maintains that he never asked anyone to lie. He maintained this claim at the Grand Jury testimony. Get ready for it.

<<<WRONG! He gave the speech because he knew he was changing his story before the grand jury to a version of facts that are less likely to get him in legal trouble.>>>

HYPERBOLISM ALERT! Translation into common language required! One cannot change a fact into a "version". A fact is a fact. Most likely what you mean to say is that his speech was given to fend off the perjery charges that are sure to hit him soon.

<<<Indeed, he addressed the country because he realized that the legally safe testimony before the GJ will get him into hot water politically, not the other way around.>>>

Unfortunately because he refused to answer some of the questions put toward him by the GJ, his testimony is far from legally safe.

<<<In fact, if any testimony is going to get him in trouble, it will still probably be the Jones testimony because he gave that testimony when he was not prepared for it. If you think that Kendall, Kantor, Ruff, and their minions didn't prepare him well for the grand jury, you've got another thing coming. Obviously, Bob, you don't understand the grand jury process so you should probably stop giving your expert opinion on it.>>>

Uh yeah right. And Bob Bennett is actually a fish salesman in Hoboken and would not have ever thought to prepare his client. GET REAL! The only thing Mr. Clinton was not prepared for was being caught in his own lies and that is all.
