Big News, because Infospace uses MTON's dbase technology Infospace.com files for $57.5 million IPO Shrugging off the market turbulence, Infospace.com filed with the Securities & Exchange Commission to raise as much as $57.5 million in an upcoming IPO. Redmond, Wash.-based Infospace.com aggregates content, such as yellow page information, for use by Web sites as well as suppliers of PCs and other Internet access devices such as cell phones and pagers. Infospace syndicates information gathered from more than 75 content providers. The company and lead underwriter Hambrecht & Quist did not estimate the number or price of shares in the IPO.
