Dell was profitable - what the hey does comparisons with DELL have to do with Amazongonenuts.com? Are they similar in the way they are structured? Do they market products similar products? Are they using the same deodorant? It must be something I don't understand.

Oh, I see the logic . . . Rocket ships can go to the moon, therefore Amazon can go to the moon. Probably like Apollo 13.

By 1994, many folks thought they had missed Dell's big move when it was trading at a split-adjusted 1 3/4.

For whatever the reasons; I consider Dell a "Race horse at it's prime", Dell monopolizes(germ, born with it) it's products and delivery systems world-wide(computer speaks all languages). Race horse sells tickets(high margin); the competition will only come with aging and a better race horse germ.

Amzn is a young work horse; so far.
