What it tells me is that the President of the United States won't even tell his own lawyer the truth. Rule #1 of the courtroom for defendents: Never lie to your own lawyer.

I did not know that Bennett did that. Could you post a link or a source? You're right, if this happened, that seriously undermined the President's current defense.
