Chicken, I consider myself a libertarian more or less (some here think Im a liberal) and my primary issue with this entire Lewinsky saga is privacy. I really can't stand Starr or Linda Tripp. I definitely think Clinton lied (Im not sure he perjured himself - I just dont know), but in any event I dont really care. The problem I have with this issue, is that it is peripherally related to peoples' sex lives, and the Clintons marital structure (which is NONE of anybodys business) and the next thing you know you've got these right wing fanatics like Jerry Falwell on TV praying for everybody, and a whole slew of discussions on whether Monica was "harrassed" in the legal sense. Well, I dont need anybody praying for me, and as far as Im concerned unless Monica says she was harrassed she wasnt harrassed and thats it. This thread is called "sanity check" and its supposed to be a moderate look at all the issues, etc. I think.
