Apologies if this has already been posted:

Acquisition Announcement from John Chambers (Im only going to post the first part):

I am pleased to announce that Cisco has signed an agreement to acquire
American Internet, Inc., a privately-owned company based in Bedford, MA.
American Internet provides high performance Internet infrastructure
software, including best-in-class DNS/DHCP software and RADIUS software,
that will support both Cisco's service provider and enterprise lines of
business.

Cisco and American Internet have been working together with key customers
(including Merrill Lynch and Walmart) for the last several months through
an OEM partnership. This acquisition strengthens our CiscoAssure policy
offerings as well as our UCP (Universal Control Point) strategy for
broadband access.

Anybody know anything about this company?
