Seven million shares today is not "chopped liver"...there's more here than meets the eye...volume ALWAYS precedes negative news coming on the way....I sold early in the year..too much volatility...Larsen scares me.

>>The plunge was dramatic between 2:15 and 2:35 and then got worse. - I'm really curious as to 'the' reason.<<

That is probebally when the deadline was. Took a few mins for the broker to set things up. Ofcourse any selling of such a large number of shares would create panic and all kinds of reasons for the drop.
Just look at CIEN. If it recoveres back to the trend line next week then things are just that. Jitters.. Although this is beginning to look like the PSFT or PMCS drop, although they had already doubled since last year.

Anybody know if the shares sold today (Friday) or yesterday, there was
some confusion at Alton house nobody seemed to know what was
happening. As I understood it the sale date was supposed to be
Thursday the 20th. In case you didn't notice the price crashed to
$37.5 at one point today and the share volume was over 7000000 which
is at least 4000000 more than usual.
