Understood. I had just signed on and saw your first message re: fat32 vs fat16 when you said there was "no benefit" to converting and responded to that. No mention of "speed" until several exchanges later down the thread.

It is obvoius you will get a increase in space. The Fat 16 "filing cabinet" was not very effeciant at storing small files.
I was refering to "Performance." (Speed)

you said no advantage. You never mentioned speed until we started getting technical. As I said FAT32 is not faster. read my lengthy post...
