Don't think for a second that I don't agree with you. Long ago, the founding fathers realized that no central government was a burden to the union of the various states. I don't think that they ever envisioned the mass exodus of government control from local and state levels to the centralized control of the federal government. The original concept was more along the lines of a central government that acted as a supervisor. Thanks in particular to the continual machinations of a certain political party we now have a slavemaster.
At least in your state, the capital isn't so far of a drive. If you live in Olympia, Washington do you think you are going to have much control when your government resides 3700 miles away in Washington DC?
