It is a movie the point of which is that if you get in trouble as a politician you start a war. Really don't think thats involved here, but it was expected. Don't know enough to say one way or another. Just simply don't trust politicians. They do more damage that good. Just happy to see Sand hang in there when a lot of good value small stocks are getting killed .

Folks, unfortunately things are in a mess world wide and while there is little reason for a big impact here the scrounge for liquidity hits everyone. As to Sand it has held up so well in this sell off it is a wonder and in many ways is a good place to be. Good news should be out shortly if my information is correct and that should help the stock greatly. Also since it is tightly held it is not as subject to sell off in a panic market. All I tell people is that it is a pretty good place to be right now for a lot of reasons and if you look at the rest of the market, has hung right in there.
World leaders, well what can you say. it becomes painfully obvious that there interests are not those of the people they rule. The Asia mess is because of corruptness and cronyism and essentially closed markets. We never should have allowed it. if the Japanese do today what they have to do anyway, a deal like we did with the S&Ls the market will turn in a day. They have been aware of the problems for years. Interestingly I think all this will be for the good and be over pretty quickly just because money flies around so quickly and rewards good performance and punishes bad. The Pols don't like that, stops their games, The prime exports of this country are food and technology, not luxury items but things which the world needs badly to get back on track. We are in a very strong position in the world economically and that is apparent and will draw investment dollars. No where else to go in troubled times. After things settle down we will recover quickly and strongly. Our base economy is strong and we are surrounded with friends with who we do the majority of our business. if you stop and think, it is the only place to be. And for sand, the market for their products is not where the problems are. A really strong case for them.
