SEE BELOW --- GOOD JUSTIFIABLE REASON TO PARDON BUBBA ******* Kathie Lee Nightmare New book dredges up hubby's cheating Kathie Lee Gifford's worst fear is coming true -- her husband's cheating scandal is erupting all over again! The beautiful talk show queen is up in arms over a major new book that dredges up hubby Frank's bedroom romp with a busty blonde. The outraged entertainer feels especially betrayed because it's being published by the producer of her show -- the Disney Company. "Kathie Lee is livid," disclosed an insider. "She feels it's the ultimate slap in the face by Disney to publish it after all she's done for the company. She's gone out of her way to promote their products and events -- and now Disney turns around and stabs her in the back with this book. "It's Kathie Lee's worst nightmare -- the cheating scandal is erupting again." Nearly a year and a half has passed since Frank was seduced by sexy Suzen Johnson -- and Kathie Lee and the football legend have worked hard at saving their marriage. Just as all the pieces have fallen back into place, Hyperion -- which is owned by Disney -- is getting set to publish "Women Who Stay With Men Who Stray: The Untold Truth About Infidelity." The book -- which spotlights famous celebrity couples as examples -- is being written by psychologist Deborah Then, who was reportedly paid a whopping $500,000 advance. "When men stray, women tend to blame themselves," Dr. Then told a reporter. "By using profiles of high-status women, it shows it can happen to anyone." A steaming Kathie Lee told the insider, "They're going to drag the worst period of my life back into the public eye! "I don't need some Ph.D. know-it-all to dissect my marriage and my reasons for staying with Frank. What does she know? "It's also a slap in the face to Frank. "He works for ABC, which is owned by Disney -- and he's done plenty to promote them. "Frank and I have moved on -- we've worked very hard to reclaim our love and marriage. I wish Disney would pull the plug on this book." Divulged the insider: "Kathie Lee thought she had dealt with her anger over the affair in months of counseling and recommitment. "But since she found out about the book, Kathie has had to be careful not to explode at Frank and open old wounds. "This book is making her relive the whole nightmare again." Disclosed a source: "Disney wants to turn the author, Dr. Then, into a new Dr. Ruth -- at Kathie Lee's expense. "But Kathie Lee told me, 'The free ride with Disney is over. Why should I push their products and talk them up when all they do is treat me and Frank with disrespect? " 'It's shameless money-grubbing. There is no loyalty!' " -- JIM NELSON
