Bill Clinton could still leave high office with the nation's
sympathy, before it sours into resentment as the extent of his betrayals becomes clearer daily, even to many of those who once believed him.

I suspect the greatest damage/challenge Clinton experienced was on Monday and Tuesday of this week although the media would have you believe otherwise.

Yes there is still that legal thing but I suspect the Republicans will rattle their sabers for effect and then let it die based on its unpopularity.

As time goes by the pain Clinton invoked on the Democrats and the American people will slowly fade. The only resentment to remain will reside in the hearts of the Republicans.

Hatred has a peculiar way of destroying the vessel of that emotion.
