Or- maybe those French companies know something. They probably have interlocking BOD's just like we do here. Info gets disseminated. It is an interesting idea anyway.

Gary, Pair would be a great fit for Alcatel IMO. It's been discussed here a few times during the past several months. Alcatel has a great desire to gain RBOC share in the US, one of its weakest global markets. That's why they bought Sprint's equipment business and DSC. Pair would give them market leadership in HDSL to go along with their own ADSL products.
