Novell getting business from Microsoft has Microsoft losing about 4.9 billion in market cap while Novell gaining about 45 million in market cap. Think about it.

I didn't say it made any sense. What I think is funny is that Microsoft is warning that sales of NT 5.0 will suffer, when even they don't have any idea when it might ship. Most speculation is that it's at least one year off, so does it make sense for them to issue a warning now?

How will this impact sales of NetWare 5.0? Will even more companies take a serious look at it, given that Microsoft anticipates an impact to NT 5.0 sales? It must be good, right?
