Bubba, you should take a look at the fundamentals of these companies before you dismiss them.

These explosive-detection companies have had solid sales and earnings gains for the past two years. Two years ago, your remarks might have been on the mark (but they weren't...). At that time, none of these companies were profitable, and the market for the products was thin and unpredictable. A lot has changed since then.

They did "bubble" at that time, and I think investors are wary of these stocks, because at the time they were WAY over-valued. Unfortunately, that bubble of two years ago is what people remember. But now they are under-valued by any measure - just take a look.

For a market that can't afford and doesn't need the product, somebody sure is buying a lot of this stuff. :)

There certainly IS a mandate to install these products at airports, and I suspect that we are now going into a period where even more airport security will be mandated.

In any case, "up for a few weeks" sounds good to me. Isn't that what this thread is about?
