I got the figures from a document which does not include details
for AMD and Cyrix.

In essence, the two new Celeron processors use the same P6
microarchitecture as the PII, with 128kb of internal L2 cache
running at CPU clock speed. The new processors also use the .25u
CMOS technology.

I have included the full available information for the other Intel
CPU's for your info:

Intel iCOMP Index 2.0
PII 450MHz (new) 483
PII 400MHz 440
PII 350MHz 385
PII 333MHz 366
PII 300MHz 332
Celeron 333MHz (new) 318
PII 266MHz 303
Celeron 300MHz (new) 296
PII 233MHz 267
Celeron 300MHz 226
Celeron 266MHz 213

One other benchmark I have seen is based on the products to be
released tomorrow (Monday). Benchmark used was the ZD Benchmark
Overall Business System Performance Winstone 98:

PII 450MHz (new) 130
PII 400MHz 119
PII 350MHz 111
Celeron 333MHz (new) 105
Celeron 300MHz (new) 100

Test System Configs:
All PII machines:
10GB 5400RPM Ultra ATA; Matrox G-200 w/8MB; 100MHz FSB w/512kb L2

Both Celeron machines:
6.4GB 5400RPM Ultra ATA; Matrox G-100 w/4MB; 66MHz FSB w/128kb L2

Regards,

H
