Chase to Redeem 10-1/2% Preferred Stock
NEW YORK, Aug. 18 /PRNewswire/ -- The Chase Manhattan Corporation (NYSE: CMB - news) announced today that it will redeem all outstanding shares of its 10-1/2% Preferred Stock (New York Stock Exchange Series A) on September 30, 1998, at a redemption price of $25 per share. Dividends will cease to accrue on the 10-1/2% Preferred Stock from and after the September 30, 1998, redemption date.
