how much has Japan saved the US?
hasn't their huge buying of our treasuries the past few years helped US to fuel its recovery by bringing down interest rates and saving the US a lot of money in cheaper debt and corporates huge money in selling cheaper debt besides paying less interest etc..
ps. I had to buy a little cooking pan.. bought one made in China for 1.39 ..happened to see one in supermarket today..looked exactly the same by said it was made in USA 5.99 ..in same store head of lettuce
1.99...
ps. if Russia has been buying 40 percent of our poultry..what would have happened to our poultry farmers if they hadn't bought any..I guess we will see shortly unless USA comes to their aid and poultry farmers aid
a one day intervention by the USA to support the yen..does not sound like a real try..does it? one day..give me a break
supposed..the USA doesn't donate money to IMF..I forgot how Rubin explained it..(ps I am the opposite of pro IMF)
how much of this global economy has increased US shareholders' wealth while took advantage of South East Asians.. ie Nike for instance..
Dell for instance etc etc etsoforth..
I just get annoyed at reading onesided articles..
there was a good short article by Friedman in Barrons this weekend
