Hi Larry; <OT> Capt. Ahab would have "slipped" and fell overboard,
long before he caught up with Moby Dick, a fishing crew paid
on shares would never have put up with that kind of obsession.

The plot was OK , and I guess there is some Ahab in most of us,
but the writer could have used another setting and said the same thing
better, to me it was boring, not really a fishermans tale,
but I read it any way. Capt Ahab could be the die hard wounded
short trying to stab the bull, and collect his revenge.

I'v never run into the kind of dog you speak of, but I like
water spaniels a lot.
