>>"I read in a previous post that the number of Muslims who are our enemies has now increased from 20% to 80% of the Muslim population. That's a lot of Muslims. "<<

All that means to me is that I now consider 80% of the Muslim population to be MY enemy.

<<<The number of people that violence touches grows exponentially as salvos are fired back and forth. Hence, the number of people that hate each other grows exponentially as well.>>>

Well, I have no problem admitting that when it comes to the issue of terrorism I am far right of Atilla the Hun. I don't think you want to know what my answer for it would be. But then again, that's why I'm not the President. Unfortunately, time marches on and at some point someone will have to make a hideous decision. As the world's population increases exponentially, as the fight for resources becomes more strident, Darwin will prevail.

Alegzis, bad timing or not, I don't see any Americans shedding tears for dead terrorists-in-training. You should keep in mind that the US just had two of our embassies on the African continent get blown sky-high by truck-bombs.

We do indeed have a right to defend ourselves. I myself was more than happy to see our military get a little "active training". What good are all those $1M Tomahawk cruise missiles if they're never used? I thought the whole thing was mint. Reminded me of the opening sequence of the most recent James Bond movie.

If the Muslims of the world are angered that we had to rub out a few terrorists, who really cares? There's a lot more Tomahawks were those 75 came from, and frankly our military needs to stretch its legs now and then. I say let 'em rip. It's not like we'll run out of ammo before the Muslim terrorist world does (or the entire Muslim world, for that matter).

I say we lay low for right now, maybe do some more recon work, then pick off another camp. Meanwhile, we probably can expect more terrorist acts, but that's practically inevitable. When the Japanese bombed Pearl Harbor, did we sit and say "oh no, we better not retaliate, because then we'll *REALLY* get them mad." It just doesn't work that way. There's gotta be consequences for violent acts of aggression against US property/citizens such as the embassy bombings.
