TLC--

I just found this thread you started. What is surprising is that it was not started years ago. As someone who has battled the evil vermin for over two years, I won't miss him one bit if he got booted. The disturbing factor is where his twisted fanatism takes him from SI.

I see there has been much discussion here about freedom of speech. Some people believe that if Vidrine gets banned; what unpopular viewpoint goes next. I don't subscribe to that perspective nor believe it is true. SI was never intended to be a bully pulpit for racist scum. That he has been able to launch his missives from SI for so long is a black eye on SI management. Other people have been kicked off for less, and I find it difficult to believe preaching hate for another people doesn't rank right up there. There is a vast difference between preaching hate for other people based on religion or skin color, versus hotly debating stocks, politics or other issues on SI. There are many other forums available on the Internet for posting hate messages. Vidrine could have chosen to continue posting manure on the "Ask God" thread, where he usually hung out, instead of branching out to harass other threads.

If he was not suspended, he is probably taking a breather before resuming his infamous tirades. I'd like to know out of sheer curiosity what SI did or did not do with this individual.
