Novell Still Searching For Respect

By Joseph C. Panettieri, Sm@rt Reseller

August 21, 1998, 12:00 PM EST

<<Despite Novell chairman Eric Schmidt's cost-cutting efforts and deft leadership, Wall Street continues to question whether Novell can regain its server throne. To wit, Novell shares jumped a mere 12 cents
to $11 after the company's solid August 20 earnings announcement. Across the Internet, message boards are flooded with postings from frustrated Novell employees, resellers and shareholders, who think Wall Street analysts undervalue the company.>>

Well it appears that the proof will have to be in the pudding first if Joseph's opinion is correct. But from what I've gathered (read) on the message boards, everyone was quite satisfied with last quarters results and were still feeling patient with Novell's turnaround process (and share price) in the current market environment. Too bad Joseph didn't leave any links..... =:-(
