Liz, (or is it Betty)

I understand. I am trying to explain the phenomona of why sectors become so OVER BOUGHT or OVER SOLD. Just posted this on YAHOO:

Tax Loss Selling PLUS Short SellingSargeK
Aug 22 1998
6:05PM EDTA prudent investor or trader, once convinced that the OSX was headed down to the extent that he would sell to take advantage of the tax loss would also short the stock to recover prior losses.
Again, GLM as an example for the sector: Median 24..Sell @ 18 to 20, COVER @ 13 to 15, thereby taking advantage of tax law, recover previous losses and await for the accelerated strong push up as investors (allowing for Wash Sales Rule) to reestablish positions.

Using the Oil Service Index as the barometer. I predict the index will go up at least 20% (most probably up to 50%) in the next 30 to 90 days. Currently @ approx 60, I am saying it will be somewhere between 75 and 90 before December 1st. WRITE IT DOWN.

This downturn is not about oil, IT IS ABOUT MASS PSYCHOLOGY, THE TAX LAW and the BOTTOM LINE - MAKING OR LOSING MONEY.

Once you understand this, you will also understand why I am always under personal assault. When has Tuna, the SargeK imposters, or anyother detractors, ADDRESSED the issues?
They are PAID BOILER ROOM manipulators who work continuously to attack opposing views and if not successful, cover the board with noise and filth to instill FEAR and PANIC among individual investors and discourage new investors.

Since, I have already screwed up you message board, I will cease to post unless requested by the regulars. Perhaps, but not likely, the BOILER ROOMERS will seek new pastures.

Good luck all,

K

I recommend you sell your OS stocks now. Take your losses. Wait 4 or 5 months and buy any one you want at a great price.
