< Jim , Doug, Thanks for the replys! > and <Johnny On The Spot, Here are the documented gains of the last few weeks >
This is a copy of a post made elesware by me:
Just wanted to show everyone the type of GAINS we have been making in the last month or so. Short Selling and Buying. All were short term plays, a few days to a week. Some cont. gaining after the few days or ONE week time frame. All went in the correct direction, all made good gains, some make VERY GOOD Gains
WAVO - Called it a Short Sell the evening of July 13th, after the stock had several days of huge gains. WAVO opened the next day, the 14th of july, at $15.37. WAVO closed on July 14th at $14.43 Kept dropping for days on end WAVO closed Friday August 7th, $9.81 GREAT SHORT SELL !! The stock dropped even more then I expected. Myself, I covered to soon but you never go broke locking in your profits!
NTPA - Called a Short Sell Monday evening of 7/20 Opened Tuesday $10.12 For the next Three Days the stock went UP, DOWN, Sideways, Up, Down..... End of the week, Friday 7/24 Close $10.12 Monday 7/27 close $10.31 Tuesday 7/28 close $9.75 Wednesday 7/29 close $9.43 Friday 8/7 close $8.52 after hitting a low of $7.50 on both 8/4 and on 8/5 A pretty good Short Sell Myself, I covered to soon again, then shorted the stock a second time. Worked out very well but it was a bit tense with the price bouncing around like it did for the first few days
DOSE - Called BUY Sunday evening 7/26, after the stock had DROPPED a huge amount the days before. Opened Monday 7/27 at $5.75 Hit it's Short term HIGH 7/30 at $7.06. I told everyone to watch the stock closely and to look at locking in profits.
DOSE - Called a Short Sell Sunday evening 8/2 Opened Monday 8/3 at $6.56 Tuesday 8/4 close $5.68 Friday 8/7 close $5.75 A pretty good Short Sell. If you played the stock going UP on the rebound, then shorted it, you did VERY well!! If you played it in just ONE Direction, Long, you did good with a 10% to 20% gain depending on where you bought and sold.
TWA - Sunday evening 8/2 called a BUY , but only if the General Market conditions are UP. The DOW and Nasdaq were down Sharply Monday 8/3, therefor TWA BUY was cancelled. TWA opened Monday 8/3 at $8.25, closed $7.43 TWA closed Friday 8/7 at $7.87. This stock was a loss, but I did warn "NOT TO BUY UNLESS the General market Conditions were UP or Sideways". The Markets Tanked Monday.
GMGC - Called a BUY Monday evening 8/3 GMGC opened Tuesday 8/4 at $6.71 GMGC closed Wednesday 8/5 at $7.87 GMGC closed Friday 8/7 at $9.18 Interweek high of $9.96 WOW! What a Gainer that one was! Myself, the stock went even higher then I expected. I sold to soon, but a nice profit is a nice profit!! I seem to allways cover or sell to soon, but better to soon then to late!
FINL - Called a WATCH BUY Wednesday evening 8/5 and Called it a Buy Thursday evening 8/6 FINL - Thursdays 8/6 Open $13.12, Interday low $ 12.62, Close $13.00 FINL - Opened Friday 8/7 at $13.06, High 14.25, close 13.75 8/10/98 High $14.75 , Close $14.09 8/11/98 I stated " I believe todays General Market correction has broken FINL's Rebound Rally. If anyone got in last friday after I said to watch the stock as a long last Thursday, and out today, we still ended UP!! Market correction and all!! We made a nice short term gainer here, again!!" "Anyway.... The rebound rally is broken by todays action, and should cause the stock to go lower still, before going up. IMO" 8/13/98 The stock dropped like a rock, but we were out of the stock one or two days earlier! As the moron's Johnny and Mikey pointed out, FINL dumped in price. But we did not loss a dime, because we had allready locked in our profits and were out of the stock.
I have not updated this since then so I will give you the quicky results since then.
In 8/13 PUMA as a BUY between $2.75 and $3.00 Between 8/13 and 8/19 the stock got as high as $2.96 8/18 I said to get out and lock in whatever small profit/break even/small loss you might have. 8/19 High Bid 2.75 Not a winner but not a losser either!
IMSI 8/11 evening : Called IMSI a BUY 8/12 $7.00 Low, $7.43 High Evening of 8/14 I said to watch the stock closely for an exit. 8/14 High $8.25, Low $7.62 Repeated the warning on the evening of 8/17. 8/17 High $8.37, Low $7.93 8/18 High $8.25, low $7.87 Yet another good short term winner!!! We then went short on the stock and between $8.00 and $8.25. Fridays lowest Ask to cover was $7.87, and was also the closing price. Up a very small amount, BUT UP!
All were evening postings applying to the NEXT trading day. All but ONE were winners. The ONE that was a loss, was a 1.5% loss Max.
As you can see, the style for me and anyone listening to me, is to get in a stock and get out of it in 2, 3, 4 days, maybe even a week, very rare cases a week and a few days. Depending on the price a person got in and the price getting out, MOST all were 15% to 25% gainers in just a few days!!
Johnny and your other worthless friend, put THAT in your pipe and smoke it!!!
