Mr. Korn,

1) The numbers below the SI chart generator are wrong. They are comparing 1997 CIEN numbers to 1998 TLAB numbers. Ciena didn't have $97 million in sales for Q2 ending 4/30/98, they had that for 4/30/97. The net income listed is for 1997 as well.

2) Yes, the deal was/is a 1 for 1 stock swap, but you have to take into account that CIEN has less shares outstanding than TLAB.

I think that might change things a bit.
