OFF TOPIC One can surmise how the pejorative connotations must have crept in: "You leave the yard this instance, you uncouth fellow, before my good man has the dogs on you. You can go and suck eggs. We have no extra food for your sort here..." and the children..."My mom says that your daddy sucks eggs"! (Well, I thought I would risk an off topic post here...the week end and all. Now, its back to the woods. I believe I noticed a nut-hatch setting in the early hours...)!
