You don't have any clue as to what you are talking about. Go do some research and get back to me. Oh, and learn how to spell the company's name right as well. Your posts will have some credibility if you can figure that out. I just thought of a better idea. Go over to the Lucent thread and join Ibexx. You two were made for each other.

There's no assurances LU will make delivery by Dec. So right now 40 is the highest available. And what CIEN has to do is speed up its 96 and hope LU falls on its face in making its Dec dates. It appears to me that LU wa able to show some technol. strength in the testing and that CIEN's big error was in missing some dates that were "must-do"s in the eval. On another matter, does anyone know the patent situation? Originally, the CIEN work grew out of some patented developments at General Signal. What barriers/protections are there (if any) on the technology side to keep LU and others from impinging on CIEN turf?
